Genuinely don't know where to begin, it was so good, so I'll just dive in and say that the ice cream we had here was probably the nicest and lushest we've ever had anywhere. Our main courses - jacket potatoes- were nice, but the desserts... ridiculously good, everything rich in taste and generous of portion. Great choice of exotic sundaes and ice creams (Drambuie and raspberry ice cream...not sure something that tastes that good is legal, is it??). Add to this a lovely atmosphere, super-helpful and welcoming staff, and a shop that is the kind of shop Willy Wonka would open if he branched out into specialist cheese, quality meats and biscuits - and you get a really special place. Just be aware this is a very, very dangerous place if you are calorie counting ;-) Can't recommend highly enough.

Coming down the A9 we diverted here for a late lunch. We'd pegged it as a place to stop based on the other reviews, and the place lived up to it's reputation. We only had ice-cream ourselves, but the other diners had food that looked just like in many of the review pictures. We arrived on a Thursday at about 1:30pm. It wasn't busy and we ordered at the counter after waiting for only one other person. It was a great place to stop and I'm glad we did. The ice cream was really good quality, the atmosphere was great, the mini store was nice, service and attitudes were pleasant, the washroom/toilets were clean. They have a small store for farm produce, and an outside seating area with animal pens and great views of the surrounding countryside. Well worth a visit.

The ice was great. It is a very good stop of tou are making long house driving. Especially with kids. Beware of the amount of wasps flying around. Of the weather allows you van sit outside. The store has some great local stuff. Animals in different places around fir the kids. Great stop.

Shame we had just had lunch earlier. There was plenty on the menu and boards we would have had. Thought they would have a lot more ice cream choices. We got drinks and a sundae to share. No faults. We even got some apple pie to take home. Lovely views and staff lovely. Outside we admired the goats, pigs and ponies. I recommend a stop for lunch or just desert.

Just had the best afternoon tea probably ever. Wonderful mix of homemade savoury and sweet items was great. Who doesn’t like warm mini steak pies and sausage rolls, not forgetting quiche, fresh sandwiches and mushroom soup. Lovely cakes especially the mini apple pies. Loads of great tea to wash it down. Sorry we couldn’t manage the homemade ice cream - maybe next time. If your heading north or south on the A9 this place is worth the detour :-)

What a delightful little find. Down a narrow country road for sure and surrounded by country with a nice gift shop and lots of tasty offerings to please the whole family. Well worth a visit if in the area. Staff were friendly, shop was quaint, and you can see farm critters roaming around outside in the fields.

This place was a pleasant stop off on our way home from holiday. Lots of animals for the kids to enjoy and in the cafe section they had a huge range of different types of ice-cream, cakes, drinks and other produce in the shop. Good quality food and the drinks were exceptional. My only gripe was that it could do with more male and female toilets as if someone's using it, you're in for a wait

Came in for an indulgent 2 course breakfast. A small menu but with interesting choices. Lovely mushrooms with rocket & egg on sourdough. Delicious range of lovely ice cream. Great staff. Would thoroughly recommend.
